German Lops make fantastic pets as they are a good size (about the size of your average cat) and have brilliant personalities to match. They are very playful animals and all of mine are supplied with toys that they love. They are very popular as houserabbits, and although I have never kept a houserabbit myself, I have rehomed several as houserabbits.
I don't breed from any rabbits unless they are in perfect health and have good temprements, I have bought in stock from the best lines, including lines from Holland and Scotland, so all of my stock is of the highest quality. All rabbits are regulary handled and used to dogs.
As a responsible breeder, I only breed when I need stock myself, consequently I do not always have stock available. However you are more than welcome to contact me to find out when I am next likely to have stock available and to go on my waiting list. However I will endevour to advertise all available stock on this page.
No rabbit leaves here before the age of 10 weeks and all rabbits are supplied with some food, a pedigree and an advice sheet. Owners can contact me for advice at anytime and depending on location I am happy to come in regulary to cut the rabbit's nails.
From personal experience I believe that does are best rehomed in pairs, or at least rehomed to people that already have rabbits so that they can smell other rabbits around them. Does seem to be more social and need the reassurance of having other rabbits close by. From now on I will be endevouring to rehome all pet does to live in pairs, either as 2 sisters or to bond with a neutered male.
